Find the issues that are actually holding the site back.
A technical SEO review starts with the live website: which URLs respond correctly, what search engines can read, where internal links lead and whether the site consistently identifies its preferred pages.
When available, Search Console adds the context that a crawl cannot provide on its own: indexing decisions, real search queries, impressions and clicks. That evidence helps separate an urgent technical fix from a content or positioning problem.
What the review can cover
Crawling, indexing and URL consistency
Check status codes, redirects, robots directives, canonicals and XML sitemaps. Public pages should have a coherent path from internal links to the URL you want indexed.
Page structure and search intent
Review titles, descriptions, headings and the substance of each page. Service pages should answer a prospective buyer’s questions; case studies should explain the work and show credible evidence.
Performance and accessible content
Inspect image handling, resource loading and the availability of meaningful content in HTML. Where field or browser measurements are available, use them to investigate the actual user experience rather than treating file size as a performance score.
Structured data and internal links
Use markup that reflects the visible page and connect related services, projects and useful supporting content. Structured data is a description of the page, not a substitute for evidence or a guarantee of a special search appearance.
What you receive
- A prioritised issue list with affected URLs and supporting evidence.
- A distinction between code changes, hosting changes and content work.
- Implementation of the agreed fixes, or clear instructions for the team responsible.
- A validation record showing what was checked and what still needs live verification.
- A measurement plan focused on relevant traffic and qualified inquiries.
See the approach in product work
The AnyJobOK organic-search case study includes a historical Search Console snapshot reporting 1.32K clicks and 20.5K impressions. The DevJobs.lk case study includes separate search and platform activity evidence.
These are examples of recorded project performance, not a forecast for another website.
Will technical fixes guarantee rankings?
No. Technical improvements can make a site easier to crawl, understand and use. Search performance also depends on demand, competition, the usefulness of the content and the reputation the business earns. A review should be clear about which of those factors it can address.
What about AI search visibility?
The practical starting point remains clear, accessible pages with useful information and identifiable sources. I focus on readable content and accurate structured data rather than promising inclusion in an AI-generated answer.
What should you send before an audit?
Your website address, the services you most want to sell, target markets and any recent migrations or traffic changes. A Search Console export can help make the diagnosis more specific. If the site needs substantial rebuilding, we can discuss product development as a separate scope.
