Web & mobile development.
From idea to working product.

I help founders and teams scope, build and improve digital products. From a focused startup MVP to a platform with accounts, permissions and operational workflows, the goal is a useful first release you can build on.

Turn the idea into a buildable first phase.

A product brief often contains several different jobs: something customers need to do, something your team needs to manage and something the business needs to measure. Separating those jobs makes the first version easier to define.

We begin with the users, the core workflow and the constraints. Then we decide which features are required for the first release, what can be manual initially and what should wait until there is feedback.

Where I can help

Startup MVP development

Build the smallest coherent version of the product that lets people complete its core task. A focused MVP still needs clear navigation, sensible error handling and an operational path for the people supporting it.

Web platforms and marketplaces

Connect public pages with the working systems behind them: user accounts, role-based access, application workflows, notifications and reporting. The architecture should reflect the product’s actual responsibilities.

Mobile applications and existing products

Use React Native where it fits the mobile requirements, or improve an existing web application in scoped increments. Integrations, releases and the handover matter alongside the interface.

The engineering decisions behind the experience

My work includes React, Vue, Laravel, Node.js and React Native. The technology choice depends on the product, the existing codebase and the team that will maintain it. It is a decision made during scoping, rather than a stack imposed on every project.

  • Data and permissions: define who owns information and who can act on it.
  • Integrations: identify third-party dependencies, API limitations and failure paths.
  • Background work: separate slow or retryable tasks from the immediate user experience.
  • Delivery: agree on staging, review checkpoints and a launch plan.
  • Ownership: make the handover and ongoing support expectations explicit.

A platform built around a real workflow

The DevJobs.lk recruitment platform case study shows the combination of product design, Laravel and Vue development, AI services and search foundations. It includes original reporting images and separates measured activity from broader product claims.

AnyJobOK is another example of product features and organic discovery planned together.

How delivery works

First, we agree on a scoped phase and what needs to be demonstrated at the end. Development then proceeds through useful increments with working demos and opportunities for feedback. Before launch, we review the agreed user journeys and the practical requirements for operating the product.

How much will it cost, and how long will it take?

That depends on the workflows, integrations, design requirements and existing systems. Share your budget range and intended launch window. I can help shape a realistic first phase before quoting or committing to a schedule.

What happens after the first release?

The next priorities should come from user feedback, operational needs and the agreed product goals. Further development or support can be scoped separately. If organic discovery matters to the product, consider technical SEO during the build rather than after launch.
